Ivette Cortes is an award winning graphic designer with a legacy of 25 years in visual communication. She excels in page layout, art direction, project management, and digital composite images. Ivette has worked on projects for many hospitals and associations as well a news stand publications. Her awards include: Hispanic Award of Excellence, Hermes Award 2016, EXCEL 2021, 39th-HealthcareAdAwards, APEX Award 2021, Ozzie 2021 and 2023. Her goal is to bring your vision to life through captivating designs that resonate with your target audience.
My Story
I'm a Spanish speaking New Yorican girl through and trough! Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by Puerto Rican parents who met on the streets of Brooklyn during the years represented in iconic West Side Story. Yes hanging out on the fire escapes during hot summer nights was a real thing.

The vocational high school I attended provided me the opportunity to optain my cosmetology license upon graduation. Looking back now I realize that I lived the dream life in my 20s. I was a hairdresser living in village in NY city, while attending School of Visual Arts.
